Home for the Holidays

This year, we made the tough decision to stay home for the holidays instead of traveling to California. A lot of factors went into this decision, but it's what is best for us this year. That being said, we decided to go all out for our holiday decorations with not one but two Christmas trees. We wanted to get a little one for the kids, but it ended up being a little larger than we planned. Having two fresh trees makes the house smell amazing and it's so festive!
In the sunroom, we have the kids' tree, wreaths on each of our large windows and my new favorite throw on the couch. You could even drape it over an accent chair, a cozy sectional, or the foot of your bed. So festive!
In the living room, we have our bigger tree with white lights. We decorated this one more simply with lots of colored ornaments from Targs.

On the mantle, I put all our bottle brush trees (a bunch from Charlotte's birthday party last year) some faux snow, and little woodland animals.
We also have our Willow Tree nativity scene in the living room on our live edge console. I love this special gift from my sister and love putting it out each year.

And a few more pictures....

I just love this time of year with all the decorations and time spent at home!
