pop tarts

Yesterday Nick and I spent a lazy morning enjoying the fall-ish weather and our freshly cleaned home. We decided it would be the perfect morning to break out this recipe and make homemade pop tarts for brunch. I've used the same recipe once before, with wonderful results. Although these pastries can be a bit labor intensive for an average morning, they are great fun to make when you have the time. I used the base of a square bowl to cut out mini pop tarts and alternated filling the dough with brown sugar and raspberry jam.
